digital marketing in Colorado is changing quickly, and Coloradans are starting to take notice.
In a recent report, digital marketing firm Digital Marketing Colorado analyzed Colorado’s digital marketing market and found that in 2016, the industry saw a 24% increase in sales, while digital advertising increased nearly 33%.
Colorado is now ranked first in digital advertising revenue in the country, according to the company, which also noted that Coloradians are more likely to be online, in person, or have a mobile device.
Coloradans, who are the fastest-growing demographic in the state, are finding ways to capitalize on digital marketing.
One of the best ways to do that is to hire people who know how to use Google Analytics, a tool that provides insight into digital marketing campaigns.
According to the report, the digital advertising industry has more than doubled since 2015, and in 2016 alone, more than 70,000 jobs were created in the industry.
Digital marketing in Coloradias largest city, Denver, has seen an uptick in digital marketing jobs over the last few years.
Digital marketing jobs have jumped more than 20% from 2014 to 2016.
This increase is due to increased demand and an increase in digital businesses looking to expand their reach.
Digital advertising revenue, which is comprised of digital advertising, web hosting, digital advertising and other digital advertising services, increased 7.7% in 2016 compared to the previous year.
Digital advertising is now responsible for approximately 85% of the digital ad market.
In 2018, digital marketers are working harder than ever to keep up with the ever-changing landscape of digital marketing, and the growth in digital marketshare is an indication that this trend is only set to continue.
Colorado is not alone.
Digital marketers in Texas, Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania have also seen an increase since 2016.
Digital marketshare in those states rose 8.3% in the first half of 2017, while it fell by 1.9% in 2018.
According to Digital Marketing Director Jason Miller, digital marketship is growing at an even faster rate in other states as well.
“Digital is the fastest growing segment of the advertising industry,” Miller said.
“There are opportunities for both digital and traditional ad agencies to expand.”
