Google is launching a new digital marketing and advertising degree at three of its digital marketing schools this fall.
The digital marketing program will focus on online advertising and advertising sales, including social media advertising, and its graduates will then work with Google’s global advertising team to design digital ads and promote them.
The program will run through September 2019.
The graduates will be able to apply to Google’s advertising and digital marketing teams, the company said.
Google, which has become a major player in the digital advertising space in recent years, is investing heavily in its advertising and marketing team.
The company is in the midst of revamping its global advertising and online marketing teams to compete with Facebook, which is ramping up its efforts to reach the U.S. market and has more than doubled its budget for digital advertising in recent months.
Last year, Google opened up its digital advertising program, dubbed the Digital Marketing and Ad Sales team, to applicants from the marketing industry.
The company is also investing in a new program, Digital Media Business, to give graduates the skills to help run a digital marketing team in its global offices.
